This blog is a supplement to the website http://www.cchistory.org/kyle . The point of this is to document the history of school integration in Cecil, Kent, and Queen Anne's Counties in Maryland. This is an important era in the 1950's and 1960's that needs to be documented and this is my way of doing that.

I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, in Cecil County. I'm also a senior in high school and I can't wait to graduate! I hope to major in History, minor in Theatre, and also get my Teacher Certification so I can be a high school History Teacher. I have a part time job writing for Cecil Soil Magazine. In my spare time, I volunteer at the Cecil County Historical Society, and the Kent County Historical Society.
